PAIA, HI
November 2002 my sisters, Pat and Carole, and I went to Hawaii to celebrate Pat's 60th birthday! We also took our 80 year old mother who has never been off the Mainland. We all had a wonderful time, naturally - we were in Maui - who wouldn't?? We stayed in Paia, which is a historical plantation town, and is also an old hippy town! It's as though time has stood still; just a younger generation of hippies. Talk about mellow!! The spent the second day there at Ho'okipa Beach where they hold windsurfing competitions. There were windsurfers out that day so Carole and I took a stroll - me with my camera in hand!

Carole kept saying to me, "Get the rainbow, get the rainbow!" So, I got the rainbow!

These dudes really know how to go for the brass ring! As you can see in the foreground, there is a rock shelf formation just 20' to 30' from the shoreline! Didn't look too safe to me.

Here's all three of them!

Yellow dude took off flying!! Whee doggies!!

Here's all three of them!

Free falling!
