I still keep in touch with my high school friends. This year a group of us decided to go visit Dale & Joanna up in Tacoma, Washington. That weekend they gave us a whirlwind tour of some of the Seattle sights: Pike's Market Place, the wharf, Chihuly GlassWorks, to name a few.

Seattle DooWop
Across from Pike's Market Place were some street entertainers, singing acapella doowop! |

Pike's Flowers
Here's one of the many fresh flowers that are for sale at Pike's Market Place. You want to buy them all!! |

Leaded Glass
These were leaded glass sun catchers for sale at the market. |

Chihuly Glass Works
The entrance to the Chihuly Glass Works is a glass enclosed walkway. Overhead are glass sea anenomes and jelly fish of every shape and size. This was one of the times I wished I'd brought color film! |

Neon Lites
Our first nite in Tacoma we went to dinner at the Blue Olive, next to Chihuly and other galleries. It was surrounded in ponds with this work of art of neon lites right in the middle. |

Neon Lites Two
After dinner I clicked off another shot of the neon lites. |

Chesnut Pond
Here's one that rivals one of my B&W film heroes, Clyde Butcher. However, I didn't have to stand out in the swamps for hours to catch this one. Thanks Dale & Joanna!! |
